Our bodies use food, water and oxygen to create energy, which in turn helps fuel our cells so we can perform at our best. When we’re stressed or tired our energy levels suffer.
Improving energy levels and re-fuelling tired cells is something that molecular hydrogen seems to excel at. New research from scientists shows that molecular hydrogen is fantastic at protecting cells and boosting our natural defences against disease. It has also been found that molecular hydrogen can protect cells from death, make cell walls stronger, and improve mitochondrial health to boost energy levels.
Participants in a small study consumed Hydrogen Water 10-30mins before exercising. The recorded having increased energy and lower levels of fatigue as measured by maximal oxygen consumption, visual analogue scales, Borg’s scale, which measures intensity of physical activity.
Another small group study found that Hydrogen Water increased the attention alertness among sleep deprived individuals who normally relied on caffeine.
